Abstract
The beginning of the government of Menkheperra at Thebes can be deduced from the Banishment Stele in the 25th regnal year of Smendes. However, its ending is more complex. In this paper I suggest that Menkheperra was still governing after the death of the Tanite king Psusennes I, until the beginning of the reign of Amenemopet. I suggest that Menkheperre may have survived his son Nesubanebdjed and may have lived during the first years of the high priest of Amun Painedjem II.http://www.aulaorientalis.org/index.html
